I noticed a lot of you guys have this phone and was wondering how you like it? I just got it for metro pcs and i am having second thoughts because I heard it breaks easily. but all the other metro phones suck ***. >< I couldn't find a review of that phone here which I find odd. Thanks.

Actually it's a rather durable phone. My brother threw it accross the room and it still works! look at the pic!!!!! the only thing that happened to it is when it hit the wall the protective LCD cracked on it, but that was an easy fix. It's a really great phone and i'd think you'd really like it a lot!!

in terms of it's housing and it's durability, it's awesome. the numerous times I've dropped it the only thing that's happened is that I've cracked the screen cover once which wasn't a problem cause I fried my phone shortly afterwards which verizon replaced without problem. the reason the phone dies so often for people is that the memory the phone was built with is not very...big. it's not big at all. it only supports a few wallpapers and maybe a ringtone or two. anything more and when you turn off your phone and the phone boots up, it'll try to create backups of files on your phone and if you don't have enough extra memory laying around in your phone....it'll basically overwrite exsisting memory and basically fry the phone. but that's true of most other phones. use it smartly, don't load too much on it, and it'll last forever.

you can put up to 20 MIDI ringtones from GIN on the phone adn 15 GIN walpapers on the phone. If you put stuff on the phone from a data cable be VERY CAREFUL!

Oh yea I don't plan on buying a cable to add extra wall papers or anything like that. I bought it used so I cannot have a warrenty or insurance on it, which is the added second thoughs. Hopefully it won't break until i get tired of it.

yeah, if you had verizon, they would replace it without insurance because it's such a common problem. but metroPieCeofShit won't help you with that. so good luck with them....

hahaha thanks a lot for your replies. Maybe I should have gone with verizon then XD

I'm sure even if your phone did break and metro did not replace it than kyocera would

if it was not your fault and you bought it from your carrier yes, but if I buy a phone off ebay. then get it hooked up. they have no guarantee that the phone wasn't damaged. if it was a software or technical problem(like they just sent you a ****** phone) then they'll replace it. but ebay is hardly the most reputable place and if you told them that's where you got it(or any place where you can get used phones...ebay is just an example), then they'll probably tell you that you're out of luck.
