Help With Virgin Mobile Slider Please!!!!

ok
i got this phone (virgin mobile slider - mtv phone) from my cuz and the back piece is missing with the barcode and esn number n stuff on there

but i got the esn from the phone info in the phone and when i tried to get it activiated the person said that the phone was locked and that i needed to take it back to walmart to get it unlocked or scanned or something
i dont have a reciet or anything...can someone give me info on unlocking this or just a way to get it activated?

and can anyone give me a tutorial of some sort on how to get the security code and stuff if possible? im quite new at this...

Ok, theres really nothing you can do with THAT phone. Heres how to get a new phone.

you go to place of purches, buy a new phone. Activate that phone. Put your old phone back in the box that the new one came from and return it at place of purches. DONE!

i dont have a reciet so i cant take it back or anything...but how do i use the 868666 numbers and stuff?

I must have made a typo or something....let me explain.....

You go out to target(or wherever) and buy a new phone. KEEP THE RECEPT FROM THE PHONE YOU JUST BOUGHT! Put the phone that your cuz gave you in the box that the phone you just bought came in. wait about a day and return the phone your cuz gave you in the box that the new one came in with the recept that the new phone came with. VIOLA!
