Slow start up & shutdown, No memory

My cdm8900 has become really slow to start up and shutdown. Anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Also I just subscribed to easyedge. It says I don't have enough memory when I try to put anything on my phone. Is there a memory card I have to buy or something?
