My friend had an app on his Nokia that grabbed live TV broadcasts over GPRS. I cannot remember the name of the app, but is there anything similar for the Smartphone?

I have something like this called smart video and its free, you only get a few channels though.

The Smart Video that I found is not free at all. It is like MobilTV and requires a monthly subscription. Where did you find the app you are talking about?

I'm not sure butI have a free trial it only gets like 7 channels (mostly news) and its found at something like msn mobiles .com, you just go their with your smartphone, sign up with fake numer, and wala installs app that plays on windows media player.

Have you gotten orb to serve up any audio or video? I can see photos, but anything requiring windows media simply refuses.

I haven't got any local tv to work yet. i did get my webcam to work with it and pictures. and internet tv works. on the local tv it changes the station on my computer that i use for a server but nothing on the recive end.
