n840; mms issue

so i can send mms with no problems at all, even the 225k pics which i was suprised about (i thought it would cap @ 100k) but any mms i receive, it displays the downloading icon and then says "mms from xxxx received successfully" or whatever, but there is no actual pic or anything in the message and my "save object" and "attachments" are greyed out in the menu... any ideas on this one?
