Hi, am a fairly light cell phone user and I would like to purchase a phone and plan which can take advantage of the new advantages in wireless web service. My first choice was the t-mobile sidekick (hiptop) which has a micro browser and unlimited access plus plenty of minutes (for me) at $40.00. I am concerned, howerver, that the sidekick is a lackluster phone (no voice dialing, annoying method for regular dialing, other concerns which I have read about from users). The alternatives I am considering are the more "mainstream" options like sprint pcs vision or at&t's m-life, and so on. But these services do not provide the web experience of the sidekick (though they do produce the advantage of a solid phone, but with no full keyboard). Also, I don't believe any of these plans can match the pricing of unlimited data for $40.00 per month. Does anyone have any thoughts/opinion on what is the best option? I am not a "high-powered" business user who is concerned with corporate e-mail, desktop sinking, etc., I would simply like to enjoy the benefits of a mobile web connection (for reading articles, e-mail, messaging, aim, mapquest type services, etc.). Any feedback is very appreciated.
