Is it possible to modify the band of which a phone operates? I want this phone, but since I am in the US its doesnt work on our bands. I have seen the V800 and Z800 and both look ugly. So is it possible to do this? Thanks.

I think it could be done, but it may be difficult...Anyone with any expert radio knowledge?

Theres nothing you can do its not about the antenna even if you did change it the phone was set by sony to work on the specified frequencies.

Well its easy, buy a new phone :P

or why not, get a new antenna and a firmware which comes from (what ever country/region) ur going to!

There is also another way to do it, with a radio reciver and a tool which can change the antennas frequency. BUT, this is really hard to get, as the radio reciever for 850->1900 mHz is illegal for private persons to own, everywhere in the whole world. The only way to get one is to either work with millitary stuff, or steal one.. I do recomend the first option, as stealing is also illegal... :P
