My inbox is full and want to d/l the messages to my PC. I have both bitpim and KPST but not if either will d/l the messages for me. Can anyone shed some light on this? TIA!

Just delete them from the phone.

uhhh, if i had no reason to save them dont you think i woulda came up with the ***brilliant*** idea of just deleting them.

I did this exact same thing and it worked perfect. I needed to save them as evidence.

Actually, I did it using the KPST. The directions are somewhere in these forums, but I recall using the KPST > Backup and under Settngs (at the top) you want to make sure to have "Backup - include EFS Files" checked. It will make a .qcn file that has them all in it. I know cause I backed it up, erased the phone, then restored and all the SMS were there again. I have done thisn ow 3 times for saving my SMS.

thanks for the *helpful* reply etard. im using KWPST 3.5.123 and under 'backup' theres no 'include EFS files'. i backed up the phone anyways and deleted a misc. email, restored with the QCN file and the deleted file wasnt restored. what KWPST version are you using?

*edit*: found out the EFS file thing! backed up and verified it. works fine! thanks again!
