I am getting ready to attempt to replace the lcd (inner and outer) on my 3 month old v220. I have found some guides for the v300 and 400 but I can't find one for the v200. Has anyone attemted this yet? Help.

can't you ship it back to motorola for a replacement under warrenty or back to cingular?

I was going to do that but Cingular told me if Motorola decided it was my fault the lcd cracked internally (after only 2 months with absolutely no scratches on the phone), then I would be billed $150. I decided that I had a snowball's chance in hell of them being honest and fair, so I bought a new lcd of Ebay.

I was able to figure it out on my own and it only took me about 15 minutes. I was shocked. I have never repaired anything in less than 5 hours without breaking something else in the process. Instead of pulling the whole thing apart (inner, outer, flex cable), I just pulled the new lcd out of the assembly and installed in place of the broken one. Worked perfectly.
