Hi,

I just got a v600i in Hong Kong and brought it to the US to use. Everything works great - however I would really like to change some regional settings:

1) Change the 24 hr time format to 12hr with AM, PM

2) Change the DD/MM/YR date format to MM/DD/YR format

3) When I enter in or view a phone number, have the phone automatically insert the dashes (ie. 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX). Right now it just has the number in one long string.

I don't see any option on the phone to change these settings. I'm a newbie at modding phones - but I've read that this might involve something called SEEM edits.

I've got the data cable, and i've downloaded the P2KMAN software (i think that's what i need).

Are the changes that I want to make possible? If so, can someone tell me or point me in the right direction as to how I can make these changes?

1. Go to Settings> Initial Setup> Time & Date> hit select> in the time hit change, then use the direction pad to scroll over to 24hr an scroll up/down to am/pm/24hr, then click OK

2. then scrolldown to the date> hit change> scroll down to format> hit change> and select what you want

3. I don't remember this one. It has been a while.

cool - thanks. That was easier that I expected - no SEEM edit required. I did have to change AUTOUPDATE to OFF before I could see the date/time format options.

However, I still can't find an easy to way have the dashes automatically appear in a phone number - I guess that might require a SEEM edit?

BTW - will making SEEM edits delete any custom wallpapers or ringtones?
