I got a PSP, now thinking about selling the N-Gage QD anybody want it, its for sale? Anyway think N-Gage can still keep up?

of cuz

i still put n-gage and PSP into 2 diffrent cats. really now. you just cant compare. I mean yea they got mp3, dvd, games, n-gage gots that as well. but n-gage is a PHONE!. psp has nothing to counter that enough said.

besides. i own a ps2, if i do get a PSP i would not get the games i already have on ps2, paying $50 for the same game ALMOST just to play on PSP. Screw it. i sit on my 30 games w/ n-gage

hahhaha..true that

I've recently got a Nintendo DS (I live in the UK - No PSP for me, yet!) and love it!
I've also got a 7610 on the way and don't know what to do about the N-gage.

The N-gage isn't, IMO, a competetor for the GBA, DS or PSP. It's just the best gaming phone out there.

I'll probably keep the QD. I missed my N-Gage Classic when i got rid of her.

Posted by: angel_wing0

well its basically the ONLY gaming phone out there

Posted by: Chazam

True!
Silly of me.

Posted by: angel_wing0

yip..but stupid ppl usually compare them =P

well if u ask if the n-gage can keep up with other phones instead off with gaming devices then?
because the screen isn't the best there is. and the games aint the best either
and all things considerd its phone. and people want new and cool stuff. and when you say n-gage people think ooh thats so 2002 hehe.
so basiclly in order for the n-gage to keep on selling youd really need the ngage2.
and the introduction of the psp just adds to the change of n-gage going downhill faster.
seeing that there are more other portable gaming devices. that basicly performs better.
and the only reason for a person to buy a n-gage atm is for the gaming+media capabilitys. because the're are so many other phones.
the only plus i can see to the n-gage is that it combines both game and phone in to one. but on the other hand. if people can get superior graphics and superiour phones buy just carring about 300extra Grams on them. id think they would. i sure would.
so basicly the n-gage 2 would make it better.

erm thats some random rambling of me. hope im not to out of line

Posted by: angel_wing0

lets hope that ngage 2 will ahve a 262k screen, hot-swap rs-mmc (not DV!), among TONS of other things

Posted by: Serpiere

but if it had hot-swap RS-MMC then the old games would stick out like GameBoy games on the Advance!!

...ew.

Maybe there should be TWO slots :P like the DS... take THAT, nintendo.

Posted by: angel_wing0

make it like QD then

eh.. n-gage2 problay not. I think nokia will kill the n-gage line. after that CDMA one. people around me are like getting all in my face now that they got a psp. They can watch spiderman and junk. pissing me off. but n-gage is in a league of their own.

n-gage = $100 +
1gb mmc= $100
BT adapter = $50

$250 for everything that you will ever need!!!! (prices are a little overkill )

a psp you need to buy more and more stuff. But i would consider getting one once a mod chip is developed cause thats the way i am. plus i'll probaly wait for that imfamous sony $100 price drop.

Posted by: angel_wing0

a BT adaptor doesnt cost that much..not does a 1gb mmc...too much overkill there

Posted by: birdseng

wow..
ngage only cost $100 nowadays?

well i wanted to get it as close to the MSRP of the psp . but i mean even it they cost that much you can use the both the mmc and BT dongle for more then just the n-gage

Posted by: abhi

lol! U guys forgot an important part:
Most people can get those n-gage games for free.

then people get back at you for rom dumping

exactly..well if u know where to rip the file, that is i guess

I think the N-Gage (and possible successor) would do fine if there are people that are short in pocket space (I wonder if there are many?!)

The N-Gage is small enough to fit in my front pocket with my iPod and my car keys and wallet in the other.

I have a DS and it wouldn't fit comfortably in my pockets (carpenter pants, fairly large pockets) with everything else. So yeah, I can't imagine carrying a PSP with my 4 needs.

Man, if that PDA update for the DS is true, I am gonna have to find some way to bring it around tho...

Posted by: angel_wing0

man..u cant fit a PSP into a pockey..impossible

Posted by: nflsonic

^^^ Well, I never did try out a PSP, so I guess I can't say much. What I heard is that it's smaller than what ppl thought, but I doubt it would fit "comfortably" in my pocket with all my stuff.

Plus, I can't replace my 'Pod, I love the click-wheel! Its all good tho.

* the psp is not BIG, but it is very very LONG

Posted by: Serpiere

hehe remember my friend who had both 9500 and 9300? (if you read the series 80 forum)

anywho, he bought 46 PSP's the other day to sell on eBay (he charges 40 dollar shipping and people actually buy them!) and he let me play with one that he was going to keep anyway. the PSP's analog thing is... weird. the nub doesn't move forward/backward/side to side, it just slides left right up down. but its a portable so it should suffice for a long while to come when it comes to analog control.

the psp is also very HEAVY. i dropped it when i let go of one side to scratch my head - oops!

the graphics are eh. i thought they'd be better >:O graphics aren't a big thing to me anyway so BLEH. n-gage will do DD

i want some Cap'n Crunch.

So yeah... the psp is not tall, but it is thick and wide. so you can still say it is "big". nothing can beat the size of the QD though, and personally it beats the DS by a looong way. if only nintendo characters would come to n-gage.

46 psp's...
