Sony Ericsson V800

Pros
-decent 1.3mp cam with many color options, a serious flash and qcif video recording up to i think 15 minutes.
-well built casing with a sturdy folding mechanism
-well lit and easy to push keypad, spaced just right.
-user friendly se menu system
-extremely nice main screen and outer screen
-video call capable(if the us ever gets 3g, but since we're years behind i won't hold my breath)
-seamless bluetooth operations
-expandable memory with sony mem stick pro dual up to 1 gig.
-plays .3gp videos(i watched tomb raider 2 which took up 132mb on a mem stick after conversion)
-stereo mp3 player with user friendly controls and stereo headphones in box
-box includes usb data cable, phone tools software, cleaning cloth, 32mb mem stick
-will take pics with flip closed
-flash doubles as a flashlight as it will stay on
-ringers sound great with 72chord/mp3 ringtones
-picture id shows up for received messages as well as calls
-clear speaker phone
-solid rf
-voice comands and dialing/speed dialing
-picture gallery supports folders and sub-folders for easy organization

Cons
-mem stick located under battery cover so no hot swapping
-comes with three ringtones and no games
-non-standard headphone jack(you have to use se headphones)
-system a tiny bit laggy sometimes when typing text quickly, doesn't result in mispelled words though. It just takes a second to catch up to quick fingers.
-camera shutter sound is the loudest one i have ever heard and can't be changed or turned off without flashing.
-599.99 price tag

Overall very satisfied and it's gonna be a keeper

Wirelessly posted (don't hate, procreate: Vodafone/Sharp902SH/SHG001/1.0 Browser/UP.Browser/7.0.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 Ext-J-Profile/JSCL-1.2.2 Ext-V-Profile/VSCL-2.0.0)

Wow, those pics look great on my phone. The only thing about using video calling in the us is that it will never be possible because we are gonna use 1900 and all the phones from europe use 2100 for 3g services.

I would still call the memory card hotswappable because you can keep the phone on to change it. Its not like some nokia phones where the memory card is underneath the battery meaning you have to power off the phone to change it.
