SMT 5600 from Amazon... unlock... work on T-Mobile?

I am about to pull the trigger on the SMT 5600 thought Amazon.com and was wondering if the Florin unlock will allow me to use my T-Mobile sim?

All of the unlock talk seems to center around the ATT to Cingular stuff. Anyone happy with the unlocked SMT 5600 on T-Mobile.

When you unlock a phone, you can use any GSM SIM card from any GSM carrier.

That is what I thought, but since most of the talk centered around ATT to Cingular and none of the ATT to T-Mobile I started to second guess.

For those of you who have unlocked this phone, what service did you use.

The only service I have found is the uk site charging $38. Is this the only option?

That's the one I used. Cheapest I found and absolutely painless.
