Treo 650 screen diming

I have had a Treo 650 with Cingular for about 2 months now and have just noticed that when i am doing anything with it, the screen begins to dim after 15 seconds. This never has happened before. Anyone else with this problem?

when does it dim? during a call? if so, there is a setting that does that automatically. If it dims during PDA/normal use, then you may have a problem.
