Hey Sorry I have searched..

Is there any software that will enable / or even act like push e-mail (like the blackberry) on the treo 600 or 650.

I need more e-mail options I have tried the

BB 7100 and the BB 7290 I hate them both. Maybe I am just too much of a touch screen / mp3 playing / picture taking kind of guy.

goodlink from good technology offers true push, mainly for enterprise customers though.

Just an FYI, Chatter only offers PUSH for IMAP e-mail accounts.

Yes the newest version has POP..I assumed most people who wanted true push email used IMAP.

Unfortunately, not everyone can "get" IMAP. I'm with bellsouth and they use a pop 3 server. When speaking with them, that's the only server they use, so I'm "stuck" with pop3 unless I change my ISP, Which is a tremendous hassle especially if you have a large contact/business file.

Perhaps when your email arrives at Bellsouth it could be forwaded to a Free IMAP service such as Fastmail..

**Not sure if your allowed forwarding but I have read alot of people do this so they can have mail pushed to them

if your company uses Microsoft Exchange, you can just tell the admin to add a forwarding email.

I have all my exchange email forwarded to my gmail account. It works great!

I do this because even though I have an IMAP account as my primary email, it doesn't support IDLE. So I have my IMAP account forwarded to fastmail and Chattermail retrieves it instantly, even before mail shows up on my laptop.
