If you download a pic posted here or go to my site you will see the size, and regarding your request for a program. You can use any image editor program so all you need to do is google it.

Alex, I have a major complaint to make to you, about your animated wallpapers site. Youve put on a animated wallpaper that I personally made. Im talking about the Final Fantasy Advent Children one where Cloud is walking along, with words passing by. I didnt tell I wanted this to be on your webpage. I told you earlier in this forum, if you wanted to put my animated wallpapers, you must credit me for it using my email address, or atleast contact me if your are gonna put it on your website. I work with alot of copyright laws, and so I must follow them, and youve just broken one.

You better make an apology to me, and make sure you credit me for that wallpaper. Either that, or take it off completely. I spent along time trying to get the wallpaper right cutting out bits, making sure the colors were right etc. , and the last thing I want is people thinking that another person made it, becuase its on their webpage with no credit to the author!!!.

Sorry for asking a silly question. The only way I have been sending pics and tones through my phone is through the web...Does this need to be done via bluetooth and my pc?

Yes, Of Course, If you buy a bluetooth adaptor for your PC. you can send photos, ringtone to your phone, also you can use Samsung easysyn to backup all your contact list(phonebook).
Easy to set up.( Only thing is if you have a pocketpc install activesyn on your pc, you need to disable it on the start up. will be trouble free.)

Thanks for the post. One thing that I was pleasantly surprised with is that you can transfer info to your phone via IR on the computer and the phone. Didn't realize that until I did a little more digging on the forum. Thanks!

I download your gifs from your site and save them to PC when i try and transfer them to my d 500 via bluetooth an error message appears stating " invalid ftp request?

What program do I use to transfer them to my phone. On my RAZR and V330 I used Mobile Phone tools. I have search and can only find easystudio but no where to download it.

google image search always helps
...then paste into PaintShopPro Animation Shop.
...resize 176x144 (for d500 and e720 )
...then add image effect (...there are lots to play with)
...save ( i try to stay under 300k ...that way it works on my e720 as well as d500 )

alternatively for movie sequence i'll dump image sequence to bitmap
( using VirtualDub or Quicktime export function )

if i remember Animation Shop is still available from Jasc (soon to be Corel ):-

ermmmm no registration needed apparently

..so grab it quick

online registration is mentioned in the Help menu drop down.... but it's not imposed on you during install

that'll get your creativity juices a flowing

for those of you not artistically natured
or would rather have someone else do the work

feel free to ask for a wallpaper type in here
i'm sure someone can come up with something you'll like

from a 3gp file ..if you have full version quicktime ..you can export the frames to image sequence. ( should work for avi too )
else use VirtualDUB for the avi ..and use the export to image sequence with that.
you can then import the frame sequences into AnimationShop ( or other gif editor )..to create the animated gif

1. open vdub

2. file menu..open , open video file

2a. move sliders to set length of video you want to trim
HOME key sets start frame ... END key sets end frame
else you'll do the whole movie

3. video menu...filters
4. add the resize filter ..set it to size to 176x144

5. file menu ... save image sequence

this should save your selected range as an image sequence ready for use

i suggest you start with about 100 frames ...... a 300k gif will use about 24 frames at 176x144 depending on complexity

I find it easier to convert to .avi in Xillsoft, import directly into Animationshop 3. From there do the cutting/sizing and sampling.

i see alot more people are willing to help resize and make the correct format for use with phones in this thread so maybe ill try my request here all help is appreciated

I have a T-809 though, but it looks as if the requirements are pretty much the same gif needs to be 240X320 and under 300k so with that said can anybody do this for me

here is the actual gif i want

with the words on top and bottom like on the one i posted above can anybody help me with resizing it without distorting the quality that much and adding the words and making it into a format i would be able to use on my phone as my wallpaper

Hey i am new here, but play with images all the time, the one below suits me on a normal day, lol. Size is 220 x 176

Also looks good at this 176 x 261. I have only tested these on a D500
