I did a search and didn't see this anywhere so I thought I would mention it. While scrolling through the setting menu in the phone I stumbled upon a setting to turn off the ERI banner in the system menu. I turned it off and both of the verizon banners on the small screen and the big screen went away for good. Just thought I would mention it incase some people weren't aware of it.

Thanks, phobic ... I came across that, too, and wasn't sure what it was, so I turned it back ON .... thanks for the "smack in the head"
