Help With MP3 Audiovox CDM 8910 Please

Im trying to help out a friend with ringtones since they are so expensive. He has a adiovox cdm 8910 from verizon wireless. I have a LG VX7000 and i already tried sending the ringstone i had created but mine wont work with his. So my question is whats the max size that the phone will take and what the file type needs to be and all other necessary stuff that i should know.

you should know: reencode your mp3's to MONO, and make the bitrate very low. As long as you can tell what it is it's still cool, right?
That's all you need to know as far as I'm concerned.
