Treo 650 Backlight not Always Turning On

I just purchased a Treo 650 last week from Cingular. I have had several of the problems described by others such as occassional soft resents, but I have one very annoying problem I have not seen described before. About 30%-50% of the time when I turn the unit on I have absolutely no backlight whatsoever. The only solution seems to be turning the unit off and back on again. I also upgraded the firmware a couple of days ago, but that had absolutely no effect on the problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue, please?
