Treo 650 and Mac OS X?

I was wondering how well the Treo 650 plays with Mac OS X? I know that Palm Desktop is also made for Mac but my question is can I sink with Microsoft Entouarge? Any information is greatly appreciated.

It works okay. You have to install the Ms Office Handheld Sync Installer under your Office' Additional Tools folder.

You may want to use GoBetween (I never tried) or Missing Sync (Using it and swear by it) to enjoy your Treo even more.

Quick question...I assume since you think so highly of Missing Sync it runs very stable under 10.3.8, but how do you think it will run on the soon to be seen Tiger? It sure does seem a lot more feature filled then GoBetween.

I don't think anyone can quote on tiger yet since it's not released yet. I use missing sync on my mac 10.3.8 and swear by it!

It'a a little clunky, but I mainly only sync contacts, calendar and documents to go.

I did the shadowmite GSM bluetooth DUN patch and it works flawlessly with Apple bluetooth dialup.

I regularly see over 150kbs, quiet decent really.

Good to see there are some other mac users here !

sspooner, do you use the MEdia Net Unlimited or the unlimited PDA data plan with Cingular? (Or some other data plan entirely?)

I'm curious about using the lower end MEdia Net Unlimited plan with DUN on Cingular.

thanks bud. I don't use a moto for data anymore. Have a v3 for voice and i use a Cingular Treo 650 unlocked for Tmobile for data.
