This is an April Fools’ joke but it is intriguing. Apple is big enough and both Palm and Apple are trying to go against Microsoft. Combined they would be stronger and have a better chance. The only problem for the consumers is that Apple might use some new software that would not let hacks to be run on their hardware. We would loose a lot of freedom playing with the devices and customizing them.

This is another good April Fool’s joke. This one might happen but I don’t think it would be for quite some time yet. PalmOne has problem producing enough Treo 650 to keep up with demand. I don’t think they are ready to launch with a Window device yet. Producing a Window device might steal some of the demand with the existing Palm OS Treo 650.

Both of these were fun reading. It is a BIG event if Apple were to buy Palm. Even though this is a joke, this might give Apple and Palm folks some food for thought.
