I am having trouble setting up Smarter on my P910. Does anybody know how to set it up on the P910? Perhaps it doesn't work with Canadian servers??

I had it working but uninstall a day later. Just wanted to try it out. During installation it took 15mins for it to set it up correctly.

FYI, I have Telus. So my server address is "pop.telus.net". You should have the info in your email program.

Dude, how did you set up your outlook to begin with.

Anyways, I am not in Canada, but a search on google I found this.
http://support.shaw.ca/customercare/config2002.htm

Try that.

Thanks man, but I already tried that. That's why i was wondering if there are any Shaw users that have tried what I am trying. I really appreciate your efforts though.

I am in Toronto on Fido and use MS Outlook Exchange 2003 & Duality - works great.

Make sure you are using the coreect version of the Smartner software (for MS Outlook) not the internet version.

Sets up automatically and works fine.

You must also have an internet GPRS account working (Duality uses that to syncronise).

If you let the sey up work automatically there is nothing to configure on your phone.

Also you must have the Duality software running 24/7 on your PC to get the push e mails; you can turn it off and also pause the phone but it will re sync when turned back on.

I'm using Microsoft Office Outlook 2003. Is there a special link for this? I thought I had to use the internet version for this particular program. I think I am having a problem with Shaw, unless I am doing everything wrong.

Try this link

Also on my earlier post - try searching under push

I tried some of the other programs listed on the website, no luck. I even tried using the Smartner link that you provided and it still gives me the error message (computer is not able to set it up).

I'm losing hope. I still think it has to do with the Shaw (shawmail) server.
