Entering telephone #'s not working.

Has anyone had the problem (whilst making a call) of numbers not registering correctly? For example, when asked for a credit card # (when paying bill) the #'s I press get screwed up and are seen as different by the automated system. I have even had this problem when calling Cingular, when asked to put in my telephone # it is not recognised by the system and then after me doing it several times the automated voice asks me if I am sure that the number (they call it out) is correct, and this number is nothing like the one I was trying to enter. I have even called known numbers and the call has gone to a completly different person.

May have to exchange the little beast.
