Help With P910a Fido MMS settings

I tried the enter the the settings from the FAQ in the Fido section and it doesn't work. All it says is rejected by network. I went to the SE site and it sent me the settings to the phone and the same thing happens aswell...can someone post some setting that work? (and how to enter it, as this is my gf phone and I am not that familar with it)....thanks!!

I found this and works on mine.

I have it set up and working and you need the following three things:

1. an MMS internet account
2. an MMS WAP account
3. an MMS messaging account

Here is a step by step for each of the above account settings

1 - Internet Account

Go to control Panel
Select Internet accounts
Once in Internet Accounts, select "new"
Account name "fido mms"
Connection type "GPRS"
Click "advanced" button at bottom
address "mms.fido.ca"
click "done"
You should be back at the internet account sub window, click "done" again
You should now be at the main internet accounts window, click done again.
Now you are back in the control panel.
Internet account is finished.

2 - Wap Account
Select "Wap Accounts" (If you already have a "Fido wap" account you still
will make a new one.)
Click new
Account name "Fido Wap MMS"
internet account "fido mms" (this is a drop down box, you must select the
account we made in step 1 above. If you do not have the Fido MMS account,
please revisit step 1 above)
check "use proxy"
address "205.151.011.013"
port "9201"
click the done button
You are now back to the main wap accounts window. CLick the done button.
You should now be back in the control panel
Wap account settings are now done

3 - Messaging Account
Click on "Messaging Account"
Select the MMS tab at the bottom of the Messaging accounts window
service centre addresss "http://mms.fido.ca"
wap account "Fido Wap MMS" (This is a drop down box, you must select the
account we made in step 2 above. If you do not have the Fido Wap MMS
account, please revisit step 2 above)
Automatic "on"
Download size "No restrictions" ( I imagine you can change this to whatever
your heart desires)
Select done
You will now be back in the Control panel. You are finished!!

yes I did, those are the instructions that I found on fido FAQ and it doesn't seem to work....it just gives me "rejected by network"

You need to call Fido CS and ask them to activate "fast GPRS internet" on your account.

even if I just want to use the phone for mms?......because I didn't call for my line and I got the MMS working on my imate jam with no problems.....but I will try anyways!!..thanks!!

okay.....I asked my gf to erase all the settings and re-enter the ones I got here......now it finally attemps to send, but then it says "center did not reply"....argh!!!!....maybe I ask her to call cs tom.......

Call CS with your LANDLINE and tell them to help you out with the settings. Tell them you have a P910, don't tell them you have a P910a.
