Two days ago my T-Mobile Blackberry stopped receiving my e-mails from my gmail account. Up unitil then I had been able to recieve gmail on my device.

I reconfigured my POP settings and tried fowarding, but I have not been able to get it to work again.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Thanks,

Rb

just to make sure, you're forwarding a copy from gmail not having your webclient accoutn check your gmail right?

try taking out the battery and reinstalling. This will break the connection and deliver any emails that we "stuck" in the system. It happens on my webclient (delivering my gmail) from time to time too.

As a question of principle I will disagree with Hillstrubl, he thinks he knows what he is talking about but he doesn’t....Though he is right on this issue, I would definitely use the forwarding as opposed to POP for gmail (That’s what I do, it’s a lot faster than POP retreival), every once and a while the internet service (formerly known as webclient) gets jammed up and it needs some sort of jump start, resetting the black berry usually does it.

Yup, having the exact same problem with my gmail account on T-Mobile. Suddenly, the forwarding stopped working well. I won't get any of my messages forwarded to the BB all day, then much, much later, they'll start coming in. It's bizarre. (Mail sent from any Gmail account to my tmo.blackberry.net account doesn't come through in a timely manner. It's not a forwarding issue.) I spent three hours on the phone with T-mobile yesterday, and they basically told me they had no idea what was going on. I'm so frustrated!

Likewise. Same problem.
Gmail used to instantly forward mail to my T-Mob BB. Now it can take several hours. Not good.

I might at well just use the BB to poll the Gmail via POP, at least until this issue is resolved.

So there are others! I'm actually glad to hear that. T-mobile was treating me like I was a crazy person, and I was beginning to think they might be right.

I wasn't a huge fan of using the polling for Gmail, since it seems to pick up all of my sent messages as well as anything in my inbox. Not tragic, but annoying. As of right now, I've got my Gmail forwarding to a Yahoo account (it does that instantly and reliably, so this seems not to be a problem on the Gmail forwarding side) that forwards to my Tmo account (also pretty much instant). It's not an ideal solution, but it's working for now to get my e-mails to me in a timely fashion. It's a heck of a lot of forwarding, though!

Mine has this issue every now and then. What everyone must remember that Gmail is still in Beta. There will be some flaws and errors still. If it messes up, it will correct its self. I suggest that if you recieving your email instantly and reliably, then wait til Gmail is out of beta. Reminder Beta means there will be errors.
