just so you guys don't go out and spend 20bucks for the real aim client for palm... you can get it directly from aol via

I remember when I had a toshpda thats where i got my pocket windows version worked great.

Well im expecting my treo to come in this week! So ill let you know how I make out... like i said the version for windows pda was great... simple and well best of all free. On the USA site it costs money...hehe.. im sure the palm version is similiar to its microsoft version.

now u post this and i already paid verichat $25 bucks. THANKS MAN!

i just loaded it to my phone and i have no buddies and it looks like a very old version of aim for a pda. i think verichat is better.

That version of AIM is absolute garbage. Yes it's free, but you get what you pay for. I used it for about a week when I got my Treo 300 and quickly switched to VeriChat. I've been happy with it ever since.

Just use Agile Messenger. It's free and compatible with MSN, AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, QQ and Wireless Village.

I have it on my Treo 650 and use it flawlessly with both AIM and Yahoo Messenger.

what version are you on ? 2.xx? why isn't there a 3.xx ..like everyother device has?

urghh...... thursday is the expected delivery date of my 650! I am going nuts waiting for it... I can't wait to power it up lol and see it soft reset 3 times before i put my sim in it!...

Plus now that gsm rom mystery has been fixed.. I cant wait to start flashing my own roms!
