I have the chinese roms 1.29 and 1.33, how do i put them on the mpx220??

PS1: which one is better?
PS2: can iturn back to the upcoming new cingular rom after?

NO you can put the Cingular 1.3 ROM back, the new ROM that Motorola is going to relase will flash to your phone only if its not Cingular branded like 1.3, because of that AT&T wireless MPx 220's could not upgrade there ROM to the Cingular 1.3 ROM. So once you go to the chinese ROM you are stuck.

even if i use the systeminfo.xml from a 0.325 to try to go back to cingular's rom?

That may work, but I would be sure that it does before you flash your phone.

Well if you install the chinese rom you might be able to install the new upcoming rom which i think is 1.9. But the rom you are trying to install might be the equivalent of 1.9 already, meaning that you wont be able to upgrade to 1.9, rather making you stuck with the chinese rom.

Thats a thought they could be the same. Though I think the chinese are a couple of ROM's ahead of us but I am not sure. I would just wait for the one Moto will release here soon, it would really suck that you went thru all that trouble and they are not the same and then the new ROM comes out and you can't upgrade to it.

okay i think i'll juist wait 4 the cingular update and see what happens.

Has anyone tryied those roms? 1.29 vs 1.33? hoy are they? (just to know)
oh! and the one other thing i need to know: how to apply the roms/ where to find the rom loader
