Hey,
I jsut bought a Handspring Treo 600 on Ebay and wanted to know if there was a difference between this release and the PalmOne release besides the fact that the PalmOne device came later.

Same thing to my knowledge. Pa1mOne branded units were just made later, and shipped w/ newer Firmware (it's upgradable anyways)

PalmOne used a different manufacturer for the screens. They're the same resolution and color depth but a lot of people report a bluish tint on the PalmOne screens. Other than that and the firmware (which is flashable) they're the same.
