Deleting BWC Account

Hey everyone, I have a simple question that I can't find a solution to. I gave away my old 6230 to my friend and he connected with T-Mobile on a Blackberry Data-Only plan. Now, I had the BWC set up to forward my e-mails to the blackberry and all of that good stuff (I'm a n00b when it comes to BlackBerry's, hence why I gave it away lol). He's getting all my messages, and can't register on the T-Mobile BWC site b/c the PIN/IMEI are registered to MY BWC account. I can't find anywhere on T-Mob's BWC site the way to delete the handheld from the system without adding a new handheld. Please help! Thanks

mmmm.... you could try to delete the web client service book, but that may not get rid of it.

You might backup the handheld, clear everything, and restore it (minus the service book).

After that it will no longer sycn with the web client.

call customer care...ask for the BB data group. they can go in and delete everything to reset it so it is more or less new. the owner of the acct must call..

When I gave my friend the BB, I went into the security menu and did a "wipe" which deleted all the info. When I went under service books, there was nothing on there. Then we went to the T-Mobile store, he activated the plan, and the handheld showed "data connection refused" for a few hours, then after that, he started receiving my e-mails. The problem is that the BB is listed under MY BWC account, but I cancelled that T-Mobile account completely; however I can still log into the BWC site.
So my friend went to http://www.t-mobile.com/bwc he puts in his phone # which forwards him to the BWC sign in page. He then goes to create new account, but is not allowed to b/c it says that the IMEI and PIN are registered to another account (my account which I cancelled). I guess I will have him call T-mobile and see if they do anything, but given t-mobile's customer service

I work for TMO B2B...trust me just call the CS and ask for BB data group. They can completely delete the BWC user and PIN history to start it out like new

Correct, the IMEI and PIN need to be released from the previous user before you can activate.
