Not enough power for phone... Treo 650

My treo sometimes turns off the phone and when I try to turn it back on it gives me a message that there's not enough power.

It first happened to me when I reached 25% power...... but other times it happens at different power levels (86%, 63%, 52%, 43%). I thought the 25% was reasonable when I first got the phone, but it keeps happening and I'm not so sure that it was a factory setting anymore.

I usually have to soft-reset it a few times (or just once) before it will allow me to turn the phone back on.....

Anyone else experiencing this, or know how to fix this?

are you running phone technician? i had that same problem when i had my phone turning off automatically and then turning on in the morning. it would say not enough power.

I suggest doing a full backup and hotsync, then do a hard reset. Try ot use the Treo for a day or 2 as is and see how it behaves. Most problems arise from using flimsy 3rd party software.

I fully charged the phone, didn't work.....

I got fed up and hard reset, didn't work......

Left it overnight and soft reset in the morning..... now it works (when my battery was 95%, go figure, it won't work when it's at 100%)......

Been fine all day so far......

.... and no, I'm not running phone technician
