I have had an MPX-220 for a couple of months that I bought outright from an Internet retailer. Judging from the documentation, 220v charger and UK accent on English voice command prompts this unit seems to have been destined for the Scandinavian market(ActiveSync discs were in Swedish and Danish). This unit came unlocked in sealed package with only MOTO and Microsoft content, no logo on phone.

I'm wondering if anyone can help with:

1. When MOTO offers new update ROM could I use it? I have
same peculiarities as everyone else: volume, have to restart to browse, no BT voice dial. MOTO site said update was for North American units and I don't know if this is because of hardware or because of included languages.

2. I am on Cingular with Unlimited plan. Since this wasn't a Cingular phone to begin with as I think most units on this forum are, I don't have the preloaded Cingular content. I would like to be able to access some of Cingular's content. For the life of me I can't seem to be able to get the right, is it web address, I need. Cingular's CSR's give me a variety of things that all ultimately point to their corp website.
