V620 - Problems with illumination on displays

Hi guys, I hope you can help me out. I have a V620 and suddenly the lights on the external and internal display do not work anymore.
The lights on the numbers work fine and the screens work fine.........the only problem is that they don't illuminate anymore, and it sucks. I can hardly see the inner screen.

Does anybody know how I can fix it? Maybe it is some internal connection that has unplugged or something like that.

Any help is welcome ! ! !

Assuming its like most motos it uses one backlight for both LCD screens. Either the backlight is disconnected or dead. Unfortunately its typically not replacable seperately, about all you can do is take the phone apart and check the connections and go from there.

Assuming the backlight is dead..........is it easily replaceble? Or do I have to change the flex and everything?

Well, I THINK you have to replace the screens and backlight as a single assembly, but it shouldnt be too hard as its all one piece and you just take it out... I dunno about cost though, razr screens were going for like 50 bucks last i looked, I dunno how the V6XX screens are priced.

I just left it in an official Motorola technical shop, I hope they fix it.
