Automatic Underlining of Numbers in Text Messages

Hey all
Got a question.......
Is there a way to stop having numbers automatically underlined when reading a text message? Its causing a little problem for me.
Heres what i mean.
Im a firefighter and I have all my fire calls forwarded from my skytel beeper to my nextel so i only have to carry the phone and the calls will come over as text messages. The first line of the fire calls are usually either **Signal 8** or **Signal 9** Now... my private ID is 173*xxxxx*11, if i hit the PTT button to light up the screen, and i usually do because its been a habit since ive had the i1000, and i cant really break it to easilly, the person with 173*xxxxx*8 or 173*xxxxx*9 will get keyed up because the 8 or 9 will be the first digit to be lit up.
Does anyone know of a code plug mod or any other way at all that I can fix this so it doesn't happen anymore.
If your gonna tell me to change my habit or to use the volume button to put the light on, i dont wanna hear it.
Thanks

I do remember seeing a field once that had to do with "link to" in messages or some such. I can't seem to find it now.
In any event...
Moved to the Software forum

This is not about software...this is a regular question about text messaging. Just leave it where i had it....noone is gonna see it in here.

Did you read my post sport... There was/is a field related to links within messages in the CP. It has an ambiguous label and I only found it by reading the "Real" RSS help file in an older version some time ago.
Your thread was moved here so that someone more current than I could respond.
BTW, if I didn't respond this thread would have already slid off the front page of the main forum. It was on the last line when I moved it. Therefore, you have a better chance at a correct response in here...
And so it get's another bump to the top... in the correct forum.
Your welcome.
