Question about assigning ringtones

OK I have downloaded some MP3's that I would like to use as ringtones and for voicemail and text message alerts but When I upload them to my phone they go to the Multimedia option on the phone and I can't assign them to anything. My question is which folder on the phone do I download them too? I have been using Motokit and just downloading them to the audio folder.

Go to Steeting> Ringstyles> scroll to the ringstyle you have like loud, soft, ring & vibrate, and so on> then hit change. You should see a list of the options like Voicemail, Calls, Alerts, and so on.
You should really only load ringtones & wallpapers through MPT and not Motokit.

Yeah I know how to get to the voicemail and text message options but what I"m saying is that the mp3's that I have downloaded arent there to pick, they are only in the multimedia > sounds menu.

Since I never use motokit anymore. Can't help you there. Might want to find MPT. Hint: Google.
