new to ngages QD. how s euro version differs from us?
i know that both dual band. us is 850/1900 and euro must be 900/1800. how are they different in all other ways?
and are these bands set in hardware or theres way to switch us to euro?

Afaik those are the only differences.. And yes it's hardware related so no changing them. -matt

Nokias switch between bands automatically. Motorolas and Panasonic phones allow you to select the GSM 850/1900 manually.

^ well u cant...if u bring a 850/1900 QD to europe it just wont work, peiod. It has nothing to do with switching bands

Note that I said Nokias, this doesn't imply GSM 900/1800 functionality on the NA version of the QD.

It was a general statement referring to all Nokias since you don't have to select another band with any of their handsets.
