Brag about your employee rate plans! What do you have?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: StattlichPassat

The Good:
1000 anytime minutes
1000 N&W
Unlimited TXT
Unlimited MMS
5MB MEdiaNet
$20.00/mo!

The Bad & The Ugly:
Regional (TX) and not nationwide
No Rollover, nor does previous balance carry over
No unlimited M2M (add for $9.99/mo.)
Requires 6 mos. previous Cingular service

I have mixed feelings about it, but in the end, it's more than enough for me! Was on the N450R before. I would have never touched them, but I lost 1250 Rollover minutes in the change. Ah well. I retained lock\line insurance and added FastForward calling so my 6230 is protected against everything but acts of God and war, and so I can utilize the kickass business phone system I have at my place and not use my minutes! Works for me I guess. Bill was cut in half.

Posted by: NukuCamui

All free.

Down side:

Posted by: I have a phone

unlimited everything for $1/mo and a $1 credit. HA!!

Posted by: agent623

Stattlich bragging so soon? Didn't you get that job recently? How soon you forget the little people

be careful, abuse of the COU line can be tracked via your CUID- we had a employee download games useing his sim in other phones for friends. He was called and warned

Posted by: blue8282

How can they track game downloads via your cuid? That has nothing to do with your COU. They ahve just lowered the spending limit to $15 instead of $50.

Posted by: Alfred_Neuman

unlimited everything (cou

basically your plan but nationwide: $0.

Line one (Free): Unlimited Everything on an SMT5600

Line two (Free): Unlimited everything on a blackberry 7290 or 7100 which ever I pick since I now have them both. Although I am going to a Treo 650 on GoodLink soon.

Line three (free): Unlimited Everything on an SX-66 for my demo line.

Line four (19.99): Unlimited voice (execpt international LD on this one), free sms, 2 MB of data.

Posted by: Rcadden

freakin a, I need to get an unlimited plan. I have the opportunity to get what Stattlich's got, but the non-unlimited internet is what kills it for me. I'd have to keep my grandfathered MEdiaWorks on there, so it wouldn't save me that much in the end. Thoough I think in May I'm going to put my gf's line on there.

Posted by: akurastud

1st line- COU unlimited everything- FREE!!!

2nd line- ANRE
1000 Anytime Minutes
1000 N & W
Unlimited Text
Unlimited MMS
UNlimited Internet

ONE OF THE MANY GREAT PERKS WORKING AT CINGULAR!!!

Posted by: jollygrunt

What about phones? Do you guys pay full retail, discounted or get them free?

Posted by: kilo

COU Line - Don't even see the bill, in fact, one isn't even produced for anyone to pay
includes: TXT / MMS (although I have a non-MMS capable phone) / WIX / Laptop Connect

BlackBerry 7290 that was given to me by the company, and I can now use as a modem for my laptop, though I haven't yet figured out VPN so I can't yet solve problems remotely, but when I do, THEN I WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE!!!

Line two: ERP1 TDMA 1000 Anytime Minutes, 100 TXT, CSD, just pay the required taxes; preferred nation coverage area
Line three: ERP2 TDMA-GAIT 500 Anytime Minutes, 100 TXT, CSD, 5MB WIX, just pay the require taxes

Of course if I'm ever separated from the company I'll have to give it all back. Except for the phones I bought for the ERP lines, those are mine, as an employee I was given a discount of 1/3 of the retail price (no-contract price). Purchased the GAIT phone that way but I had the TDMA phone since before I was an employee (see avatar), replaced with a Nokia 5125 found in a relatives drawer, then did an insurance claim on it 6 months later for $50

i used to pay for insurance and 5000 NW minutes on both ERP lines but no longer do

ERP lines can get free Fast Forward feature so that's on both for no reason at all

Unlimited everything...

$0

Posted by: Rcadden

My best friend had his unlimited SIM from AT&T, and then got a new one when Cingular took over, so him and his wife have unlimited SIMs. Nice.

Posted by: shortyd999

OMG, u guys get unlimited everything on COU?? That is so hot! What is the coverage area on that?? And what Cingular employees can get that plan??

BTW-What does COU stand for??

Posted by: kilo

COU: Company Official Use

It's like "It's not enough for Cingular to monopolize your thoughts when you aren't at work that you find yourself looking for online message boards to vent, but we are also going to give you this phone that you are supposed to carry so that we can always reach you, whenever we want."

Remember, gifts are burdens you get from other people.

If that's an agent plan, you might double check, the agent plan is exactly that only not unlimited internet. (the ANRE one)

Around here they encourage us to use our COU sim in customer's phones to demonstrate how to get games and ringtones, and get them a free one while we're at it...

My spending limit has gradually gone from about $30 to about $75. Thank goodness too, because the games for the S710 cost!!

We get phones 30% off retail. Not as good as people would imagine. But there are always alot of contests going on to win phones. And winning them is frickin easy. So far i've won a motorola v400, Razr V3, and Sony Ericsson S710a, and i've only been there for a year Not to mention countless other items, such as a flat screen tv, dvd player, Kenneth Cole watch, IPOD.... etc. Half the stuff i own i won at Cingular. Like I said this is within a year's worth of time. Just a few of the many perks to compensate the amount of BS we put up with at work.

I've got a COU of course, so no charge for anything there. Upon review of what I do, I've found I could take the very cheapest in rate plans if I ever had to leave.... but I'd need unlimed net (25 bucks) the $20 text and the $20 mms packages LOL..

I just did an order for my first ERP for my sis, 500 anytime minutes, 5 mb net, 200 text and 200 mms. How in the world did you guys get unlimited on your ERPs?!

Do new employees receive their phone and COU line immediately when they start work at Cingular, and then the 2 ERP lines after 90 days? Or do they get the phone, COU line, and 2 ERP lines all together after 90 days? I just got hired and start next week, so I'm curious.

Posted by: audiovoxx

i love my cou... i have unlimited everything... we were told it was a $75 but i dont think so i go way over everymonth... i have mobi tv,i do about 3000 text messages.... includint international text messages... and less but not least i have international roaming and international long distance... so i can call any where and not get a bill this is great huh?

Again, why would they give you a W800 that isn't even supported by Cingular and doesn't have 850? That would be like them giving you a CDMA phone or something stupid like that...

Posted by: dhuck

1000 Peak Min/1000 NW Min - Twenty Dollars....

Unlimited M2M - Ten Dollars...

Getting Service at my house... Priceless (Because I DON'T!)

Sales Reps get their COU demo equiptment for free. We order it from a webstire and it is written off. I currently have a s710a as my demo equiptment, but that will soon be replaced....by the new Ipaq.

Posted by: c0chese80

oh corp sales employees also get 2 ERP lines in addition to the COU.
1 is 1000mins the other is 500 mins. If memory serves me, they get 500 free text msgs, 500 free MMS and 5mb Media net free. Well, with the exception of taxes.
