I'm planning to buy Treo 650 either from PalmOne directly, or I get the Cingular version unlock. I 'm with T-Mobile.
Any disadvantages for T-mobile users? maybe functions, or services that I can't use???
TIA!

question on this regard...I have a PDA2k currently...driving me nuts, lots of bugs...and what was I thinking...I'm a Mac guy for Christ's sake! I say, boo to Microsoft!
Anyhow...have you been able to sync to the computer via BT, use it as a modem, etc?
I have a 1GB SD card as well...will that be ok?
Thanks.

It does seem to take a long time for my phone to lock to T-Mo when I turn it on everyday. Sometimes I will have to manually select the network.

It syncs to my Windows box just fine ... have not tried my Mac yet, nor my Linux box, so I'll try those tomorrow (about to go to bed) and let you know.

Have the unlocked version of the 650 on TMO and I'm all smiles. Syncs great with the cable/BT, unlimited internet works like a charm, and it was cake to get BT DUN working with my powerbook (definately has helped me stay productive at the airport). Enjoy your new purchase.
