v710 mp3 problem

i have a v710 on alltels service. when i use the transflash card to save ring tones off of my computer i can not find them on the phone. the card seems to load the files fine buy when i go to the media gallery and then to sounds and select the tri-mmc there is no files stored. i hope someone can help.
