x800 accessories where to buy??

I just got my x800 couple days ago and I love it!

Got the phone for $110 with t-mobile 1 year plan here in L.A.!

As most people are mentioning the battery life on this phone is not too great and I'm trying to look for a oem Panasonic car charger or a spare battery.

Is this phone compatible with other Panasonic model ex: X700,GU87?

For anyone that own the x800, have you purchased any accessories for the phone yet? If so where did you purchase it?

Thanks in advance.

Just purchased a car charger for X800 on eBay. When I got the actual item, it was for "Sharp GX30".
It seems that the plug is the same as X800.
I have not tried the charger yet but looks like it's going to work.
Can anyone confirm that the plug for X800 is same as Sharp GX30?

Heya m24mura...

I am a Panasonic X800 with a T-Mobile To Go plan user myself, only I brought an unlocked phone with me from Indonesia. Had a hard time getting the T-Zones on it to work. Picture messaging was not even spoken of at that time. T-Mobile was real nice and did their best but they just didn't have the settings. I got lucky after doing much research myself on forums like this. Seemed that the settings were compatible to the settings for the Nokia 6600 when sent ota. Even the MMS work now too. But the T-Zones that came with the To Go plan is awful... so restricted it is stupid, can't even get onto any other wap site like google or yahoo, can't upgrade to T-Zones Unlimited either becuase the To Go plan is the pre-paid plan and the T-Zones Unlimited and T-Zones Pro are for the post-paid... So am I stuck with just that itsy bitsy menu???

When I brought the phone with me to the T-Mobile store in Phoenix the manager told me 'tho that T-Mobile does not come with the Panasonic X800 in the whole USA... So just wondering, where did you get yours from? I mean I remembered your posting on here when I googled and I told them that, they still did not want to believe me. Did you buy the Panasonic X800 at a T-Mobile store with a plan or did you buy it seperately or did you buy it in another store? Did T-Mobile in LA have all the settings for it? Does everything on yours work on your plan with T-Mobile?

Thank you...
Just so hard getting everything to work with T-Mobile... they're still supposed to give me the software for the messengers...

kvngwynth, The original poster doesn't mean they bought it from T-mobile itself. I think they mean that they signed up with Mobilebee or something similar for a T-mobile contract, and got the phone at that price. I know many online stores offer this deal. The phone itself is still unlocked, it's not locked to T-mobile.

Does anyone know if there are any websites that sell face plates for the X800?!

Nope, but I did find this:

Basically, you remove your face plate and use something like nailpolish remover on the back to remove the paint. Then use the template to make your own faceplate, print it out, cut it, put it under your now clear faceplate and put it back on. Pretty nifty.

If the X800 is like most other recent Japanese phones, the connectors are probably compatible.

But please don't take my word for it!!!!

I once had an NEC N400i and it's connector interface was similar to the Sharp. I was able to purchase a Sharp charger from my local T-Mobile store for my N400i.

Best bet, is to go to your local Tmo store and compare the interfaces on your X800 to that of the Sharp.

Check Ebay for faceplate replacements...I've seen a few on there over the last several weeks.
