Corrupted MMCs!

2 of my friends have N-Gage QDs from Fido and they bought ATP MMCs a 1gb one and a 512mb one and after a month and a half of use within days of each other they both went corrupt. Has anybody heard of anything like this happening before?

nop...try to format them~

tried formatting them twice in the phone and 5 times in a card reader and it just won't work
