vx6100 wallpaper troubles

I am trying to add new wallpapers to my bitpim file to upload to my vx6100 phone.
However after I drag them there, they end up as a little black square jpeg.
These are jpegs downed from this site but end up as little files in bitpim

also I am able to edit my phonebook perfectly so I don't think it's a driver thing.
How are you guys getting your images into the bitpim folder?

I don't drag any files over to bitpim. I click on Add at the top of the app to add files to bitpim. You might have a driver issue but I wouldn't think you would be able to see your phone if you had the wrong driver. I got my driver straight from Prolific's website. tech.prolific.com I believe. If not you can always go to www.prolific.com

This is from another post I had about this issue.
"When you get to the page just go to the left side of the screen and click on Download. Then at the bottom under File Category choose Drivers for Windows. That will take you to a page with 3 different 2303 drivers. I just chose the first one "PL-2303 USB to Serial Bridge Controller". Hope this helps"

Yes, I've used the add button and I still get a 1 x 1 jpeg (rgb) black screen 0.6 kb. added to my wallpapers

anyone have any ideas?

what version bitpim are you using.

I have the same problem with my VX6100 and BitPim (0.8.11) with any images I try to add to my phone -- I can get the pop up window that allows me to adjust the size of the image I want to upload -- but when it gets added to the phone it's says it's 1 x 1 and shows up as a black square.

New bitpim version 0.8.12 fixed the problem for me.
