I gave somebody my nextel phone to try and unlock for me. The person was trying a few combonations that he thought might have worked, but didnt. Any way now when i put in any sim card it wont allow me to enter any numbers to input a code. It just says , please wait to enter unlock code. What could be the deal with this. Is my phone locked for good? Also i am a canadian customer who bought the phone. Using a i860 rite now and its working great. THANKS !! any info would be nice to get.

if you enter the wrong unlock code it locks up for a period of time before you can try again. i believe the default is 15 minutes.
