Restoring my 8900 to factory defaults

Well I recently upgraded to a XV6600 PPC so I am selling my old Audiovox 8900 on ebay. I have tried searching this forum every way I could "8900 factory defaults" "8900 factory" "8900 wipe clean" "8900 restore" but I'm not coming up with anything.

I want to wipe it clean, like it just came from the factory, pictures, contacts everything.

Does anyone know how to hard reset one of these? or should I just go through and delete everything one by one, and if so, the phone acts like it still has service even though I have a new phone, so how do I disable the service so the person buying the phone can't make calls on my account? Figured I would ask here before calling VZW.

Thanks for any info!

Try ##1133 END.

I am trying to do the same thing as above but the ##1133 END didn't work for me anyone else have any other suggestions

I ended up calling verizon on the subject, ##1133 also did not work for me, she looked for about 15 minutes for anything that might pertain to this model or similar models and everything we tried was unsuccessful. I ended up just deleting everything one entry at a time. The phone worked great for the person that bought it, so I think this may be the only option.

go to setting
then security
enter the last four digits of your phone #
then you will have ALL of the choices!

Verizon tech support BLOWS, they should read thier own manuals!
