Hey folks,
Anyone know the pinout on the 6230b?

Also: Where can I buy the connector? Or shoudl I just ravage a 2$ hands pfree ear bud?

I am trying to make a convertor to 1/8" stereo mini plug...

The pins 11-14 are the headphone part, but you need to also know the following:

In order for the phone to know that the headphone is connected, you need to short pins 3 and 9. This will send the sound through the headphones. The button that is usually with the microphone is a momentary switch between pins 9 and 10. When pin 10 is grounded this way momentarily, it advances to the next track in the Music Player. If you hold down the button, it exits the Music Player.

As for getting parts, I just used the cheap knockoff headsets I got for free as part of the phone. I grabbed two of them so I can have extra pins to work with (they come with only the minimum number of pins)
