How do i take a DVD and put it on my MPX220 ? ? ?

Is there some sort of decent freeware program, or a cheap program that would allow me to take a DVD pull it onto the HD of my pc and then cut it down to the quality that i would need to store it on a mini SD card to view in windows media player...

Its like win media player but better for movies it support many formats..

I bought that a while ago it is quicker than other ways but no custmization of quality and vertical by horizontal sizes, overall it suxed for the price best is pocketdivx after ripping dvd to mpeg files.

A1 DVD RIPPER Professional

best ripper outthere for smart phone cuz it rips and mini compresses at same time, even lets you rip only the chapters you need so you not stuck with the whole movie, but only preview is freeware. Trust me though this is the one to have!!! mix the mpegs created by this puppy with pocketdivx at size 220x176 at 29.97fps and your movie will be styling it will save it as a .avi so you need betaplayer to watch it, but trust me betaplayer is much better than windows media player, it even lets you watch in fullscreen mode homies!!!

I prefer Windows Media Encoder and the wmv format.

hey wolf i need some help. i went ahead and purchased that a1 dvd ripper program like you sugested. and everytime i try to rip a scene off of a dvd i get a windows error message saying that theere was an error and the program will be closed and would i like to send a report. i dont know what to do i have uninstalled, and reinstalled the program to see if that will work, i have restarted my pc... i really dont know what i am doing wrong... please help

Read the following thread by BengalBoy. It tells you step by step what you need to do. It works the same way for smartphone, except that instead of using Windows Media Encoder, you simply use PocketDiVXEncoder.

well i read everything step by step yet again, and tried it over and over. and everytime it says that there was an error and the program will be closed, and then it also asks me if i would like ot send an error report.... what am i doing wrong guys...

What version of Windows are you using ?

I use DVD Decrypter and PocketDivXEncoder and posted some instructions on page2 of this thread.

Using my encoding guide, you can get a 2 hour movie in less than 100 MB.
