Also not mentioned on this page is the 911 fee is going up to .75¢/month. The 911 fee increase does not affect anyone on an All-In-One rate plan.

Err... Didn't it already go up from $0.25 to $0.50?

Also i was told they will now charge if you change to a lower plan?
a la Telus who doesn't do that as of mid last year...lol what are they doing recycling plans among themselves???

Why the increase? I thought this was only to off set the cost of this service. Price creeps are getting out of hand..

I think by July 1st almost all plans will be All-In One.

I would be curious to see the % of customers on the All-In One plans, cause these consumers are protected from this price increase.

Strange that link doens't talk about 911.

@ 75 cents a month I have no Guilt calling 911 to Test Phones on occassion! Kill Me!!

What does 411 cost now? Is it not $0.75?

And why in gods name is Text Message going up from $0.10 to $0.15?

Keep it up Bell, more and more of the people I talk to who are Bell customers are getting sick and tired of everything that is going on.

Yes. It's $15 to go to a lower price plan, unless you change your rate plan on bell.ca, then it's free.

what about if you're not in a contract? will they still charge to switch?

are they considering doing a stupid Sprint PCS deal, where every change you make extends your contract? I sure hope not on that one..

It was never $0.50.

But Telus and Rogers are already at $0.15... why not jump on the bandwagon?

the text message increase shouldn't be an issue...if you only send 10 text messages a month, you are only looking at an increase of 50 cents/month...if you send a lot of messages, just get a text message package ($5 for 100, or $10 for unlimited) as those haven't changed in price.

the All-In-One plans are the way of the future...it is much easier to explain the costs, and a more honest representation of what you really pay.

Looks to me like it's just Bell repackaging things to fit the All-In-One business model - and to get more people to leave their old grandfathered plans and go to AIO...

Seems like a decent idea... Most people calling into CS about this will probably just switch to AIO...
