I have a 8910 I bought about 6 mo. ago . I am in BC . I have still not recieved my credit either . Now the phone freezes when I taking pics . I want to take it back and exchange it . But could I exchange it for credit towards a Blackberry ? or would they just give me a new 8910 ?

They will send it in for warranty repair. You only have 15 days to return or exchange.

Can you elaborate more when your phone freeze when taking pics ?

What software does your phone have ?

read your invoice you received when u bought the phone. refunds within 15 days.... to exchange a phone the original phone actually needs to be refunded and then a new phone purchased.... so i really doubt you're going to be able to exchange it after 6 months of usage.

you will just have to send it in for warranty issues. you have 1 year of warranty coverage.

well I guess I just send it in for the warrenty repair .
When I take pics with the flash on , it will sometimes (50%) just freeze the phone , I can't power it down , push any buttons I have to take the battery off to get it working again and unfrozen .

What is the SW load ?

I think it's just a defective unit. I have never seen that before.

i agree with TermDev, it seems like a software problem...i have sold tons of those phones and haven't heard of that issue...if you purchased it from a bell world store, and got the extended warranty, you will also get a free loaner phone while yours is away for repair (3-4 weeks).

I did not buy a extended warrenty . But i only bought it less than 6mo. ago . I should have a reg. warrenty on it . I check it out . Thanks for the help .

the factory warranty will cover the repair, but won't give you a free loaner phone...you can still buy the extended warranty now, that way you will have a longer warranty, and will get a free loaner while your phone is away.
