i833 data cable driver

Will the data cable and driver software for the i830 work for my i833 phone? I have the webjal software and now I need to order a cable...problem is that the i833 is still relatively new in Canada so the accessories for the phone are harder to find. Just a side note I am a noob to phone mods but it sure looks like it isnt a walk in the park to get different ringtones and wallpaper on my fone, however I am reading as much about it as I can in hopes I dont need anyones help in here. Just dont want to fry my phone !
