Well im officially pissed... Moto told me this week the firmware will definately be out.. looks like they botched up that too... Wonder will they ever get any thing done correctly? i love their phones dont get me wrong.. But it shouldnt take so long to fix these bugs.

yeah i've been patiently waiting for the firmware this week since i saw your post.

Since you posted that earlier this week, i've tried 1.25, 1.29 and i had 1.03, i'm pretty much ready for a cingular branded or non-branded 1.9 or whatever they are gonna call it. just hope it's sometime soon :-/

ya, ive heard that none of those roms even fixed any of the problems neways... il be calling that tech up tomorrow if theyre open? if not first thing monday il be hittin em up saying, wtf

C'mon guys. We are talking about an update for Cingular. Knowing how they drag their feet in releasing new phones because of their "thorough testing", it's clear we are not going to see the updated firmware until late May.

Take it easy everyone. It's not at all uncommon for software development to take longer than expected. The important thing is that we know they are working on it and it is in their best interest to release it ASAP.

If they haven't released it yet, it must mean that they found some remaining issues that need to be dealt with. Better that they find this out now than release another buggy firmware.

arrgghhh.. well im going with the other guy who said they musta caught lot of stuff.. this better be like the ultimate fix... cus i love this phone but if the speaker phone volume/closing and still keeping speaker on issue isnt resolved.. im going to be hella mad.

well everytime i talk to a rep and mention the name firmware they are always like " whats that" looks like moto is clueless as always

nope i have talked to the reg. dept. and then they usually transfer me to another dept. and that dept. is clueless as well

Thats a good point. They are obviously working on it since they already released the other firmware. No one wants anymore bugginess.

I just went from Cingular 1.03 Rom to Unbranded 1.25 it works good, try it all mayb that will fix you're updated rom craving for awhile.
