I jsut got a 8900, Verizon. We added an account and played musical phones, I got the 8900. Boss got the Treo.

I am looking for a good phone bood manager. Brewsky is cool for pics (even thou one way), ringtones and wall paper. I have used bitpim for an other phone, but my understanding is that it is not recomended for the 8900 and will ony use the file browser.

I have used Data Pioot with my LG4400, it was just ok. Didnt let you do everything, like assigning ringtones to individuals.

So I am looking for suggestions. I have searched and dont find much on the subject.

I havent tryed to put mp3 on the phone yet, but that is on the list. I do have brewsky working.

I have the 8910 model, but the package I got at http://www.cellcables.com looks like it also works with the 8900 and offers phonebook backup, phonebook editing, and phonebook sync with Outlook or Outlook Express. It has some other features as well.

I use SnapSync from FutureDial to manage the phonebook on my 8900. I sync with my laptop's Outlook contact records.
